Product Description
The Action Targets PT Scout Pistol-Rated Target Plates are crafted with safety and great sound in focus. Each target plate has a super-smooth surface. When you mount it on the PT Scout stand and a 2x4, bullets are safely and predictably directed down and away from shooters. This careful design reduces bullet splatter and ricochet, making everyone at the shooting range happy. With no exposed hooks, brackets, or bolts, these targets set the highest safety standard.
Range Masters and Match Directors can trust that they're using the safest steel targets ever made. Developed with the world's top shooters, this system is perfect for competitive settings and has been proven by shooting legends like Max Michel, Rob Leatham, and the Scholastic Action Shooting Program.
We plasma cut the AR500 steel on a water table to minimize heat-affected zones. Custom-designed hardened studs are welded to the back of the plate. The smaller weld area and the attached spring steel bracket make a clear sound, helping shooters and scorekeepers easily recognize hits. Changing target heads is a breeze, no tools needed on the range. If the nuts on the bracket come loose, the left and right feet of the PT Scout stand have a 3/8-inch wrench cut-out.
We offer a variety of shapes and sizes to suit every competition and shooter. We're proud to provide targets for IDPA, IPSC, USPSA, SASP, Steel Challenge, 3-Gun, and many other competitive organizations.

Using the Action Targets PT Scout Circular Shooting Target is easy. First, mount the target plate on the PT Scout stand with a 2x4. Then you're ready to start shooting. Remember, this target is recommended for pistol calibers from 10 yards and beyond. When shooting, the smooth surface and special design will direct the bullets safely down and away from you.
If you need to change the target head, you don't need any tools. Just do it right at the range. However, keep an eye on the nuts attaching the bracket to the target head. If they come loose, you can use the 3/8-inch wrench cut-out on the left and right feet of the PT Scout stand.
To maintain the target, since the bracket is zinc-plated, it's protected from corrosion and rust. But it's still a good idea to keep the target dry and clean. If the target plate gets dirty, you can gently clean it. This way, your target will stay in good condition and serve you well for a long time.
